Judith
has had a private
practice in psychotherapy since
1998. She has worked for many years at outpatient mental health
practices and
clinics, providing individual, family, couples and group therapy, for
adults
and children. In
addition, she has
substantial experience with the chronically mentally ill in psychiatric
hospitals and partial hospitalization programs.
Judith
has an expertise
in working with depression, anxiety,
substance abuse and recovery issues, and the use of Art Therapy. Her
supportive, naturally curious, and pro-active approach empowers people
experiencing difficulties, to become motivated, inspired, and empowered
for
change. Judith helps people to have greater self-acceptance while
growing, and
exploring their lives.
Judith’s
practice of therapy has been greatly influenced by
Asian philosophy. This approach centers on living mindfully in the
present
moment, accepting all feelings as valuable, and working with thought
patterns,
breathing, and a holistic perspective. The result is having greater
access to a
secure, happy, and enriched inner self.
